You yanks are the ones that took to it. The rest of the world bought plenty of big Kwaks.
The Busa and 12 were on a par sales-wise and indeed, the 12R outsold the Busa in respective first year sales.
CW and MC ensured the 12R was still-born over there. Many European tests found the 12 faster and quicker and certainly the top speed events have laid to rest any myths about the Busa.
Also practically every test has the 12 as the better handling, better braking, better accelerating bike. To this day I cannot understand how those two mags in the states dissed it so much.

Nukedawg...If you meant we'd be seeing more of the rear of the Busa, uh...I don't think so. Clearly, the 14 can easily hold it's own or beat Busa's when put to the task. Even the 12R could do that...LOL All about the rider now...
