A power Commander with the correct map will be needed to get the most out of the change. A big plus is by ditching the cat's in the stockers the bike will run cooler.

Yes, you have to adjust the secondary butterfly's, preferably into the nearest garbage can.

Sheesh Just put a pipe on it and leave the 14 the way Kawasaki intended it to be there will not be any problems with it...You do not need to put a PowerCommander on it with just a pipe!!!

Since it's your first bike, now learn how the 14 performs without any additional Hi-Performance mods!!!

We ran a Muzzy on one of our Demo PRE PRODUCTION bikes that was loaned to us from the nice people at KMC for our long term test.

http://www.bikeland.org/story.php?storyID=32272

The black ZX14 with the Muzzy (see raffle if you want to win it) was fine, besides a bit of overheating experienced by both bikes. The bike was stock other than the slip on.

http://www.bikeland.org/raffle.php?

The blue without the Muzzy had "technical difficulties" on the last day of testing.
