Seat Is No Joke
U guys weren't kidding about the seat.Me and the lady Rode to Marco Island yesterday and this morning feels like I rode a Horse. This is my first long ride on the bike.I live in Ft. Lauderdale so its about a 4 hour ride back and forth. I know the bike is way wider than my 954rr or I'm just getting older. May have to check out Tobin. 549 miles to date on her now.

I did 2100 miles in 2 12-14 hr days.
Non stop riding for 300 miles + at a time except for fuel stops.
The roads were very twisty too!
I never found issue with the seat...
mind you, I was hanging off the sides of the seat, weighting the pegs and steering with the knee's alot of those miles and hours.
funny how winding roads seem so much tighter at 80+ mph!
I found the corbin very intrusive when hanging off the bike....
the edge of the saddle bowl rubbed my anus the wong way .
LMFAO... that must say something about the corbon owners who LUUUUUV them soo much
LOL
Ride faster and be more active on the bike , the seat will hurt less, and the ride more fun

I had an opportunity to meet with the Tobin himself today at a gathering in PA this morning. Great guy. He is doing a custom seat for me and he spent a good amount of time going over the details with me. Picking the leather, stitching, height, etc etc. Turnaround time is about a week and the price was very reasonable. I will report back when it comes back, but i can tell you that the guys over on the Suzuki M109R board rave about his seats. JMO

one thing I can't see blasting about the seat about is comfort. it is comfy, and no problem hanging of off in the turns- even with a passenger

A friend of mine has a Tobin on his Busa. In my opinion, it is the best thing on the bike. Well made and very comfortable. Too bad its like putting a gold toilet in an outhouse!

I have a Corbin, and while the stock one was great as far as a stock seat is concerned, the Corbin is so much better for me. I am 'the new fat guy', ofcourse things are going to be different, and i also am not able to carve the twisties as often as some of you lucky bastards.
Nice thing about the Corbin for a passenger....the backrest, it gives my wife a semi-false sense of security.

I dont really like the stock seat. It seems to want to push me forward against the tank. I feel I sit ON the seat inside of IN it like the corbin on my 12R. I''ve seen a couple different seats from different makers, Top Saddlery being one and it looked real real comfy. There was another seat maker on another board that looked nice as well but I cant remember the damn name.
