Best Deal on a Black 07 ZX 14
As the economy worsens by the day, I see the same bikes sitting on the dealers showroom floor all summer long. As the 08's roll out, I think there should be some good deals out there. Not many people buying new toys but lots of them for sale. I've seen blue going for $11,200 out the door but I want to do better. Anyone seen better out there on a blackie?

in a couple of days the economy will be worse then during the depression! Hmmmm but everyone is buying new bikes.
Color won't matter much on price. Where you are and how bad they want to be rid of the '06 models will.

I bought mine 4 weeks ago for $9999. in PA. Color did not matter.

I paid 12,800 out the door for my black 07, but I got the extra 4 years warranty and I paid tax.

Got my black 07 in March for $10,800otd (ttt) and sold it last month for $10,000. Picked up a 07 GSXR 1000 yesterday for $10,500otd (ttt). Dealer said buisness is very slow, bad for him good for me.

Here in Australia we get stung either by our govt taxes or import duty, customs.To give you some idea when I bought my black 14 in March this year I paid A$18,000 on the road which is about 14400 in your money. The new 1400 Tourer retails here for A$24000 or
$US 19200. All our spares are expensive also, which is possibly due to low demand or a small market compared with yours. Somebody is making a killing

CONGRATS on the gixxer purchase!
Next long trip you might miss the 14 though. I keep the 14 around for the streets and fun, but I like the knee-drag bikes that go faster around the turns too.

Yep, going in next Saturday and have the recall done. Saw a post about one of the first guys that had it done said he thought the bike felt noticeable quicker. He said the new ecm has a better map in it and helped low end power.
