NICE Larry! are you gettin a sidecar for the duc, and some matching doggles too?
how does the 1098 fit? i am a man of large carriage, my 12 is a little snug and the 14 is a bit big for my tastes. how does it feel compared to a 12 or 14? probably like comparing apples to oranges, but ive never seen a 1098 in person. been wanting to sell the 14 and get a 1098 for a while now, you made a good choice! let us know your thoughts comparing the duc to the big ninja.

CR - Last year, I was tipping towards a more and more laid back lifestyle. Honestly, I figured that I was rounding third and sliding into home plate in the big ball game, ya know?
Knew my weight was way over what it shoulda been, but didn't figure that I could really do a lot about that. Being that heavy, wasn't any fun to ride a sportbike. (they don't make 'budha-belly' gas tanks, ya know?) So I was thinking big sport tourer, etc...Even have a Voyager in the garage right now, believe it or not...In any case, about March, I decided that I *was* gonna lose the weight, and make a decision on whether or not to climb back on a sportbike. Wow, from 253 to 195 (so far) and I feel great. It's like getting YEARS back...And now it was down to a choice between bikes. The Duc was the obvious choice for me, and it was enough of a committment getting it that it'll keep my head in the right place and I won't slip back to the fat bastidge stage of things. ____________

i like the looks of the ducati, but they just don't fit me, like any other litre bike. congrats on the weight loss and new bike, they make matching leathers ya know, saw them when the ducati truck came to town.
