it really helps traction and you can lower your bike more

I've been looking at this too. I'm lowered all the way, but having problems with the tire hitting the inner fender. Will this help? I already have a heavier spring and it's not enough.

No mark it wont help, if you tire is hitting, your tire is hitting plain and simple. Only way would be to remove the inner found giving more clearance up underneath.

from what I understand, these make the suspension alot stiffer? Making the spring you have act like a stiffer one. This would solve my problem. It only hits when I'm launching at the track.

I have one on my bike and they work. It does stiffen your shock back up and you will not need a stiffer spring. I had to put the stock spring back on mine because it was waaay to stiff with the trac spring i had....well worth the money.

now is yours a fixed one or is it adjustable like the link pro. I was going to get the one from the guy that sells them on Psychobike.

That's Zook/Anthony. His house just burned down 2 weeks ago. I think it's going to be awhile before he gets back on his feet. Mine was made by him also. I used the stock dogbones and had to grind small notchs in them but they work great. Also had to do alittle hand filing to get the link to fit perfect...nothing major...just anal.

I just ordered mine from Zook. Do you have any tips or tricks to getting the bearings out of the stock link? Maybe a proper size socket would knock them out.

Thats what i did with mine...being very careful and used a rubber hammer. I'm glad he's still up and running. You will have to make or reuse your stock dogbones.

I know he does all his machine work at his buddies shop. You'll have to ask him about the pans but i'm thinking that's more of a CNC type of deal instead of doing it by hand. He's on psychobike all the time.....he's one of the board sponsors.

Just thought I would share my experience with the straight link.
Suspension setup before
650 lb. Race tech spring, preload all the way down, lowered all the way with 3-hole links. Still rubbing inner fender on launch w/290 lb. rider. Stock wheelbase.
Yesterday, I installed the straight link from Zook, changed back to the stock spring and installed extensions. Wheelbase is now around 63-64". I didn't know how much stiffer it would get with the straight link, so I cranked the preload all the way down on the stock spring.
The 3-hole lowering links are too long for the straight link, so I used the factory links. Slight grinding was required to make them fit. Ride height came out somewhere between the middle and lowest setting on 3-hole links. What really suprised me was after cranking the stock spring so tight, it barely moved when I sat on it! This was good, because everything else I tried resulted in still too soft. Loosened up the preload some and I'm pretty close to where I want to be. No more hitting the fender.
Hopefully someone will find this info helpful.

Started to put mine on, i see what you mean about the links not fitting,will take to work tomorrow and have some machined off the sides.
Did anyone just cut off those frame tabs that are for the centerstand instead?
Also is anyone bottoming out against their fuel pump? Stu.
