Is it possible to fit the c14 bags on the zx14 i did some looking on the kaw microfish site. Basicly the bikes frames are the same. even in the rear where the bags hook. From what i can tell it would be possible to do. How much it would cost and is it worth it? I dont know. I was think it might be a cheaper alternative than buying the corbin bags. That may not be true on the price since its a new bike. Now if you found a c14 wrecked with the bags intact which would be along shot as of right now. It could work. Seems they just bolted on the hooks to the regular zx14 rear frame. Just an idea

I only would like to have the bags in cases of long rides. Besides how many times have you seen a stretched, lowered bike with bags. I want to have the option if i make a long ride. I get tired of carrying things in my backpack. I would just get to my destination get a hotel and take the bags off.

Corbin is one option, Givi is another for hard bags. Both are well engineered systems and would be significantly cheaper than fitting the factory C14 bags

Hmm, run to blockbuster and wal-mart, drop off some paperwork in downtown New Orleans, then stop by the Casino's in Gulfport, I can take the Honda Accord or my ZX-14 with the bags... I think I'll go with the bags on my 14. I'll take some ribbing from a bunch of narrow minded smart asses anytime if it'll let me turn a day of mind numbing errands into a nice outing on my bike, which will still walk away from most liter bikes I come across. Plus I can unbolt them in less than 10 min if I really want too, just leave on the mounting brackets, which aren't too noticeable. The C14 bags would be nice since they double as a suitcase and will hold a full face helmet, but I really like the styling on my Corbin bags.

Got till May of 08 to make up my mind....thanks serious blk for the thread...... anyone out there think it's worth it? I mean.... They can be removed.... and they will be when I want to burn it up.
