Fastest that was the part I really didn't like where they added the blinkers. It's still a sick bike to ride but just not for me. I guy I know on the net got those pics and some of the 08 GSXR 1000.

I'm sure it'll be a beast, but damn is that back end disgusting...LOL I'll stick to my 14, even if it is quicker, though it won't be by much IMO.

Probably, by a hair. Remember that the old Busa was faster than the 12R, which made more power (less TQ), because the Busa has the aero's to go with the power. I'm thinking that back end was done that way specifically to reduce drag. So yes, in stock trim on both bikes, I think it'll nudge the 14, but wtf do I know?

i was the one that said the same thing in 1999 when the first busa came out.... oh how ugly it is.. guess what i end up buying 3 of them. come on give the busa a break and let see it in person and find out how ugly it is. that is just my opinion. i bet you it will grow on u just like zx14 did.

That's funny because I was just looking at the side earlier and said to myself it doesn't even look like it was meant to be a street bike. It looks more like the winner of the a wind tunnel contest lol. Yeah she will move for sure. I guess we will see how the motor will open up with mods as we did with ours. We do have a few more cc's to play with. We will find out shortly. Do you still have a busa ? OMG look what I just found while checking on that fast Busa you mentioned.

July 14, 2007 The world's fastest production motorcycle mantle is about to change hands again, returning to Suzuki due to the 2008 Hayabusa's just announced specifications which should see it push past Kawasaki's ZX-14. The new 1340cc motor is 41cc bigger, and the three-ring, aluminum alloy forged slipper pistons have a compression ratio of 12.5:1, an increase over the current Hayabusa's11.5:1 and is expected to deliver 12 percent more power, giving the Busa a rear wheel output of 175 to 180 bhp. The motor comes in two different bikes - the speed king Hayabusa and the hyper muscular B-King.

I fail to see how the RWHP would be greater than a ZX14 with the same crank HP on both bikes...must have a very efficient chain...

With a longer stroke it will make more tq, but very similar HP I bet.
The longer stroke will allow big bore kits to create more displacement for the given increase in bore , compared to the 14.
Easier to Big bore as well, as it is not monoblock as the zx14 and literbikes.
There is more potential in it for mods per $.
Its like dating an ugly chick.
Goes good , but embarrassed to be seen with it.
I just bought alot of junk for the 14, so it will be in my garage for a while.
I love the style of the 14 compared to the bugly.
Top dog for 2 years, now an underdog with ability to tune decently, bike was already paid for when i bought it, and our $$$ is strong, disposable income with dealer accounts....
Should be interesting and fun!

What an ugly bike!! IMO I the ass end, ...looks like an ugly front end,... of some comic book bike,... with machine guns on the side. I'm sure it makes plenty of power. Both of these bikes have plenty of "hidden potential" when it comes to mods. Can you say TURBO? But then you ask yourself... " Why do I need 700 bhp? " Some may they need it. Then again some have small "organs" and egos. I think the 14 is a much "cleaner" looking bike than the bus...ah. I think ALL of Kawi's bikes of late, have a smoother look to them than most bikes. And unless you're a big strip head, or a corsa rider.....these bikes have plenty of punch with a few bolt on mods. It's all rider... but the 14 is still the king when it comes to HP and styling...... The older Busa still very nice looking bike even amoung all the new models that have come out over the years IMHO...The rear end on the new one is a bit over done..It could be so much cleaner.

Personally....the bike has improved over previous years in looks....but I can't get over that single headlight....I hate that! The bike is still ugly!
