WHATS THE AVG HORSE POWER OF A 1397 BUSA
DO U GUYS THINK A 14 WITH PORTING AN POLISH HEADS WITH 1352CC JE PISTIONS THAT HAS 13-5-1 COMPRESSION, WITH BIG CAMS, AN 65 DRY SHOT THAT WILL MORE LIKELY BE 42HP SHOT WHEN IT REACHES THE ENGINE , POWER WISE U THINK THAT MATCH A 1397 BUSA.,
I RAN ALL KINDS OF BUSA'S, I PROB RAN 1397 BUSA, AN DIDN'T KNOW IT, U KNOWS GUYS ALL WAYS SAY, THERE BIKE STILL BONE STOCK,
WHEN I KNOW ,THERE'S NO A BONE STOCK BUSA WILL BEAT A 14 . BUT ANYWAY, GUYS LIKE SMOKE I LOVE TO HAVE UR SAY ON THIS, I VALUE WHAT U SAY ALOT.
THANKS.

bayou boy whats up. You can go to brocks site and look at his dyno of a 1397 busa. I got a piston on the way and thinking about doing the head and cam combo. Rob Muzzy has said with those mods and his cams. It should be over 210rwhp on a 14. Thats on one of these topics. On carpenters web he has 210hp combo with just the head work and cams. Also i think most 1397 have head work done to them. Just a big bore kit without any work to the head or cams wont bring a stock busa from 155 or 160hp to over 200. What combo of cams and headwork are you thinking about going with. Im trying to decided if its worth it.

1397 busa average about 215 real world rwhp as I understand it.
The 14 with the mods your talking about will at least match that number before the nitrous!

yea i just cked brock site. 1397 makes anywhere from 212-220 pending what kind of exhaust. Heck the 1430 made around the same amount. I think you be close before the nitrous.

Well i don't know how much a 1397 motor makes ...But i have ran more than one Busa with a 1397 motor from Bob C ..... These Busas were also not Street bikes , light wheels and body parts , open headers and lock ups ...You name it they had it ......None of them have run my ETs, they have run better MPH than me but not by much ......I'm not saying a piped and P/C zx14 makes more power that a built 1397 motor but i don't think they make as much power as they would like us to believe....
