Kawasaki tells you in the manual exactly what is recommended for the entire bike. Fuel, oil, coolant, timing and a ton of other stuff. I guess we shouldn't try any different combinations. It's not recommended. Don't you think Kawasaki knows better than we do? HAhaha!

Why are y'all just making this up as you go along? If you're pouring a whole bottle in, why not make it two, or three, or hell, fill the whole system up with the stuff?!?

Redline *tells* you how much to use - 1oz/quart. It's printed on the frikkin' bottle! For a 4 quart system, that means 4 oz. If you're putting in a quart, that means you're putting in TEN TIMES (because now you only have 3 quarts water, so the proper ratio would have been 3 oz) as much of the stuff as they recommend for best cooling performance!

Then you say "it works great!". Imagine how great it would work if you RTFM! Do you really think that if TEN TIMES as much WaterWetter was the right mix, that Redline wouldn't want to sell you that much?

Uh.............that dudes pissed!

I'm not pissed, I just don't get this "read the instructions carefully, then ignore them" approach. As for Kawasaki not recommending WW, of course they don't, they are telling you what standard mass market product to use for coolant.

Nobody has replied with any kind of rational reason why they decided to dump an entire bottle of WW into their system, or why they stopped there rather than use two or three. Note this isn't a case where somebody did a bunch of testing and determined that maybe double the recommended amount, or half the amount, provided slightly better results. You're just randomly dumping shit in because it happens to come in 1 quart bottles.

I don't guess you know how much testing was done to get to this point. You didn't bother to ask did you? Fuck off Troll.

Well, I am not gonna argue about how much to put in. I just dump the whole bottle in each bike and each snowmobile. My 500 hp S/C Mustang gets 2 bottles. In the car, I witness the temp drop on the gauges, EXPENSIVE Autometer gauges. I know it works. I've done this for 15 yrs.

My ZX14 has no WW yet. It runs at 2 bars from the top in the city and sometimes one bar. It'll run at half on the highway. It'll get some WW once I get some ambition!!

Be prepared to have some ambition. I did a flush and refill with Engine Ice the other day.

TOTAL Pain in the A$$. The filler neck on the 14 is kind of under the right side ram air cover. It's hard to get to it and loosen, even harder to pour in the Engine Ice and hard to get tightened back down. It took way way over and hour to flush and refill my bike.
