dyna shift light

I was wondering if anyone that is running muzzy airshifter , ever got the dyna shift light to work right . I have tried tying into the white wire with red tracer on the leftside coil. now i have been told you have to use two coils to get the correct signal. that one only picks up half the signal.

Maybe you got the wrong unit ?? I have mine hooked to the white with red tracer and it works fine ... But a friend ordered one and it had a different part number and he had to wire it to two coils to make it work....

If you have the wrong number of pulses per rev you should be able to double or cut in half your RPM setting and get it to work.
