clutch or no clutch for Quicker ET's

I have had people tell me that you need to clutch your bike every shift. Then others tell me I'll get quicker ET's power shifting with no clutch work. Then there is, use the clutch going to second, then power shift from there on out. I just don't want to be abusing the hell out of my bike. Does it hurt the bike or not? In my mind, closing the throttle for a split second in a power shift isn't much different then how an air shifter works.

No clutch, just a quick slight flick of the wrist (throttle side of course), while simultaneously upshifting the foot lever.

I was letting off the throttle way too much at first. fast speed shifts and response launch time I'm still working on that.

Preloaded clutchless upshifts are the way to go!

The HP the 14 makes, slap shifting would cause the clutch to slip after a while IMO.

preload the shiftlever, cut throttle slightly and it will slip right in.
I heard of guys do clutchless shift without preloading, miss their timing with lever and reduced throttle damage shift forks, and shafts.

always preload the lever! Very little pressure needed, timing will not matter, soon as you cut the gas, it will slip in.... NO DAMAGE this way
