and his performance isnt all that good either.... he could only get 194 with nitrous at maxton. with all the freebies he gets and the dyno tuning at his shop , you would have thought he could have went 200. Brocks bike 200 without nitrous....

Greg is an asshole, an accomplished schister, and a few other comments too explicit to make on this forum. I'm tired of him shitting up Streetfire.net with product promotional videos.

JJ what they have done is take a regular filter and cut out the filter media and use a glue gun to glue K&N prefilter material in its place. I would not trust it for day to day use. As far as a regular and a race version I think its a load of crap. The prefilter material is all the same and was not designed to be oiled by K&N, but to be layered over the top of the regular oiled K&N filter media. There is no engineering behind what the G man is doing, and no long term trials to see what effect they may have on the engine or even what particle size they trap. I get the prefilter with my Valkyrie K&Ns, but dont use it. It is large enough that I could homemake the same thing the same way, he does but I would not trust it to hold up very long or to keep the dirt out of my engine and I certainally would not pay the ton to be a guenia pig or part of his test fleet......TB

Damn, quite a bit of negative things about this guy. I have only met him twice. Once at TX Mile last march. He was geared WAY TOO TALL! Loaned him a sprocket since were both on carbon fiber BST wheels but he decided to just go -1 up front. Seemed ok. Turbo zx14 from his camp tied me @ 194 mph.

Saw him the next week @ NC (Maxton) and he got some runs in and did pretty good, forgot the speed.

He didn't seem like an a-hole but I haven't dealt w/him much.

Can anyone actually explain what his "problem" is? Just for clarification? Of course many people have 2 sides and I'm not naive, but I'd still like to know, he's semi local here in the "DC" area.

Thanks

A.
