My ZX-14 pictures

Ok here we go, first time posting a picture. Thought I would show off my ride. So far I have the Brocks 200mph package which includes the Brocks full smeg exhaust, pciii w/brocks 200mph map, Brocks front radial lowering kit, speed healer(installed, not yet set though, still need to figure that out), also have the spacers not installed yet either(not needed for now)! Also have the Schnitz performance package which includes the muzzy lowering links, roaring toys swing arm extensions, longer 140 pin chain, steel braided brake line. Took a link out of the chain so it is about 64-64 wheelbase. Also installed muzzy's fender eliminator and a puig windscreen and a tank protecter. Pretty much done for now! Hope you like...

Also here is a picture of my v-rod drag bike...

Hope this works!

Bikes look good!
Go to speedohealers website. There's a calculation part and it'll tell you what to set the speedohealer at. Real simple.

Well after I get a little seat time on the 14(at the track) and get the hang of it I imagine mid 9's, an air shifter and a few more passes, hopefully 9.20's-9.30's of course being optimistic. Just installed the extensions the other day. Haven't been on a big like this in a while as far as 1/4 mile. Of course more power than my previous Honda and buell. The v-rod has a 1320 big bore, high compression heads/pistons, u-4, air shifter, slick, bar, custom pipe, race tuner. I have ran low 9.80's, hopefully a little quicker, 9.60's-9.70's, just rebuilt the engine. Was dyno'ed last year at 153hp. Use to run it without bar/slick with shoot out tire. Just thought I would try the bar a couple races back. Best 60' 1.41, 137mph.

Is this the same as you put perfume on an ugly ass bike and it is still ugly?

Thanks guys...there is some mystique with the v-rod for me. It's a water cooled, high reving Harley Davidson, what can I say. Would be cool if it ran 8's, still like best of both worlds! I like it all...Yup, you can go out and spend 14k that is capable of running high 8's or you can spend 18k that runs 10's. Realistically, unless you go to a track, where can you enjoy the full potential of these machines. I am just as happy cruising around the mountains on a street glide as I would be on the 14, depends on the mood for me. Of course most the time I want the performance.

Hey Sideways there's a AHDRA meet this weekend at Gateway International Raceway are you coming? Let me know I'll look for you. There were a bunch of harley drag bikes running in our local points program this past Saturday. Getting ready for the big show.

Wish I could be there for the St Louis race. My dad and I do the west coast races. Hopefully the Texas race, for sure seattle and so on. We compete in the vr, sg and ss classes. Can't wait to get the 14 down the track though. Probably next Wed. for street legal fun drags here in town.

Bike looks great. Just a FYI too, you could have used your stock rear brake cable. The one that comes in the extension kit is too fuggin' long.

BlackMagic you seem to be a good guy here but man, your 14 aint a big sight from the pics I've seen. Too cluttered and dirty IMO. "BUT", it is your bike, not ours as is the Harley belongs to the topic starter.
