Power Commander w/ Slip On?

Good Day, I've got a Silver 14 on the way to me from Canada. I live in Atlanta. It'll hopefully be here by the end of next week. (BTW, my two previous bikes were a '96 ZX11 and a '00 ZX12R, which I just sold) I've got a gazillion questions, but here's the first that I can't find a direct answer to in "search". I'm considering slip ons instead of a full system and I'm wondering if it's necessary to get a power commander (p/c) if I do? Certainly I'll need the p/c if I decide on a full system instead, but my first consideration is the slip ons. I'd love to hear from anyone running slip ons. Thanks

I've been running a full system since Oct 06 with no PC3, and bike still runs a bit rich.
My secondary flies are still in though, so until you remove them you are ok!

I do have the bike tricked into thinking it is in 6th gear, so flies do open early.
Even tried a hi-flo foam airfilter, still ran rich, however it will perform much better with a PC3 but it is not neccessary due to lean conditions.

A pc is not needed with slip-ons.
