Powder Coating Needs

Thanks to the bike manufactuers powder coating everything on the bikes black or s---t brown and a lot of us wanting our own special colors, I can see a need for a mail in powder coating service. I have had the opportunity for the past five years to bring a small mom and pop custom powder coating shop from very little to securing a contract for 10,000+ light poles annually. Located in the Charlotte NC aera gives me a central east coast location for shipping. Turn around time should be less than two weeks.

What I need from you guys is do you have a need for this service and what price would you be willing to pay for lets say wheels? I will need good support and reasonable pricing in order to take this venture serious.

I think it's a good idea, but I'd suggest talking with fish before soliciting business on here.

you might want to discuss it with the admin folks...

good price, short turn around and good service. You'll be rich and famous. FWIW, I've had everything except the wheels powdercoated on my 14 and 12.

I can get wheels done locally for 50.00 a wheel. BUT alway figure the cost of new bearings into that price.

I have used patrick at www.patricksperformance.com and have been VERY HAPPY with the products and sevice he is about to do my wheels in a candy transluscent red for a reasonable price I cannot disclose the actuall price because he is giving me a discount for having DONE SO MUCH business with him but it is less then 500 dollars... me personally I would not let anyone do any work on my bike without seeing some of there work first but if you want to post some pics of your work I would definately consider you for any future powdercoating maybe the clutch and brake levers and passenger peg assembly... Can you do all colors and styles of finish?

Sorry for the confusion. I am not soliciting for business because there is no business yet. If I decide to start one I would go through the proper channels to find the business. The mom and pop shop was not mine and this is not for it . I am simlpy doing a survey to determine if there is enough powder coating needs with you guys. The space with equipment will become avalible to me in the next few months, however if the going rate is $50 per wheel this may be as far as it goes due to the shipping added. $50 is a good number. If the numbers do not work for everyone I would go from hero to zero quick.

Thanks for the quick responce. If I pursue this you will hear about it through the site with advertisement.

Doing a market survey is a very smart business practice. Don't let these spam guys get you down. They probably work for the government... or are pimps.
