Red is the fastest color.. so fast they had to discontinue it :d

You will really like the bike, there are lots of happy owners out there.

Hey Dave. I live in Manchester, CT and am the proud owner of the fastest color, red of course. As Tool man said, it was so fast they had to discontinue it. Don't know what experience you have. I've been on 600's and liter bikes for several years. I love the 14. Handles extremely well for a big bore bike. Really powerful after you pull the flies, add a pipe and PC. Now I'm just waiting for the temperature to get back into the 50's. It didn't even get to 40 degrees at my house today. Too cold to ride. The 14 and the FZ1 have their sad faces on cause their just sitting in the garage.

Hey DAC. We're the same age. If you get the 14 maybe we can meet up somewhere and take a ride together. Hopefully the weather will warm up soon. I lived in FL for 20 years before moving up here. Been here for 7 years now. I really like riding in New England. Much more scenic and the roads have more curves and character. Again, if you get the 14 enjoy it. With the experience you have, I'd recommend it. I pretty much rank it as the best bike I've ever owned. Here's a pic: http://www.bikeland.org/board/viewthread.php?FID=27&TID=27009 I've since added a Corbin seat and a Garmin Zumo 550 GPS.

warm welcome

Hey Guys....thanks again for the warm welcome....warm is something we could certainly use here on the East coast.... i think the Easter Bunny has Ear muffs on... Your bike is gorgeous Raptor....nicely done....as you can imagine... my mind is going 100mph with all the different idea's i have of add on's to the 14....and i dont even have it yet! Well... ill blame all of you guys for that one.... so many different 14 owners .....here's a question.....any two people have the exact same add on's?... other than stock seems youve all gone your own way as far as customizing....makes it great huh? Ok now dont laugh....went to the dealership....and saw two black bikes with red wheels... (Mean Streak & ZX10)..and i liked it.... now with a black 14...red wheels....red pinstriping.....

Hey Dave, I'm Dave too. I was born and raised in Darien, CT. Small world, eh? Good thing about black is not only is it the fastest color, but they will never see you coming... but if you get a Brock's Smeg they sure will HEAR you!

Hi everyone my name is Allen I'm new here as well I'm currently deployed to Iraq but just a few weeks ago I bought a 07 black ZX 14 I've had a few mods done to it such as chome wheels, lowered, ext 6",Tsukigi exhaust, pcIII, and muzzy dry nitrous kit and I can't wait to get to ride it when I get home for Bike Week (Myrtle Beach) I very curious to see how the bike performs my other bike which is a 01 GSXR1000 which is also lowered, ext 6" D&D pipe, geared I could get consistant 1.50's 60 ft and 6.20's 1/8 and even better time's out on the street's but that's a different thing I can't wait to see how Mr 14 does

Allen
