Do you have the Muzzy air shifter already ?? If you do it easy as pie to run both off one N20 bottle ...I'm changing mine to a 2 1/2 pound bottle and will T off that for the air shifter ...

Looks good Tony,
Do you see any possible way of making it a completely hidden system?
ZXbob where did you put the bottle on your wifes?

Man, this bike has no place to hide anything. Cut out the passenger seat for the bottle like others here have done.

Tony is your kit the same kit from dyno tune.?????I am confuse of the way your bottle is mounted. On the one they have on dynotune page page it does not seem to use the same bracket but it seems to be attached by the "2 Nozzles with mounts" or the blue things in the kit. You seem to have stinaless billet mounting bracket which is diffrent fromnwhat they have on the page.
I am thinking of going with the two 2 20 oz botteles instead of the 2 12 oz bottles how do you think that will look hanging of the 14

This is my kit http://www.dynotunenitrous.com/store/scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=141
I was not able to use there twin bottle system since I have a high mount pipe and aftermarket foot peg brackets. Both of these limited me on what I could do. The bottle mount you see in my pics is Muzzys bottle bracket http://www.muzzys.com/ZX14/ZX14_BottleBracket/index.html. It's a little pricey but it is manufactured very well. It worked perfect for my situation.
The bottle I have is 20 onces and the twin bottle system uses two 12 ounce bottles so it is close in the total amount.

Have you sprayed it yet? I am curious on how it reacts, i have nitrous on my Mustang but I am curious how stable it is on a bike, after all it is a big weight difference between the two!!!

Spraying NOS on a bike such as the 14 or hayabusa, gsxr 1000, zx10 etc. is actually pretty common. and also stable if you know how to ride fairly well.

I hate to speculate cause I'm not sure I can even do it. It just seemed like something to shoot for. I need to get my 60' times down to accomplish it. I need to be in the low 1.50's. Basically I need to stop eating these Durito's right now

quote: Lee told me that you did that. I like that idea. It looks great. My only concern is how well the nitrous is being dispersed. Are you at all concerned that more nitrous may be getting to the center cylinders vs. the outside ones? Just curious cuz I may end up going that route myself. I am using a 40 shot so I was trying to get it dispersed at even as possible.
Have you looked at the plugs to see if they all look simular?
None the less, that is very clean and sneaky, I love it! Your bike is beautiful as well Bob.

Hey Smokin', how is that Muzzy air shifter (seems like you have one)? I am thinking about a kit for my 12R. I know it kills the fuel instead of the spark, which is a little different.
On the same note, Tony, how do you like the Quickshifter? I was thinking of one of those as well...not sure which way to go.

I love the Quickshifter. I bought mine from Smokin. He had no luck with getting it to work. It is a little tricky to get it set perfectly but once it's set, that's it. I had great luck with it. It worked perfect from day one. We have another friend Jesse who had no luck either and gave up and bought the air shifter as well. Just depends who you talk to.

Does that bottle have enough down angle to work correctly when under hard acceleration?

No sir. Anyway you slice it, that brakcet is not ideal for nitrous. Hopefully it will work ok but if I want to get serious, I need to mount it upside down. I have the syphon tube that I can install if I want but that may not be the best idea either. I am trying to keep it street pretty for now and that's the only way the bottle can go to look nice.
