I finally broke down and got nitrous.

I have been talking about it for some time. I wanted to ride the bike to it's full potential before I got the spray but it got impatient. I know the bike has a lot more in it. My goal now is to see if I can get into the 8's stock wheelbase. My last bike was stretched and I told myself I wanted to see what I can accomplish without stretching it. We'll see, wish me luck.

BTW, I figured I would share where I got the kit from. I am in no way affiliated with this company I just found them on Ebay and called them up. The guy is very helpful and the prices are great. I ordered it friday and I already have it in hand. Once I receive the bottle bracket from Muzzy then I can install it. I will update this thread with pics along the way.

I wasn't able to buy there dual bottle system (very nice) since I have a high mount pipe and I have aftermarket foot peg brackets. I may have tried it otherwise. That system has 2 quick release bottles for fast filling. Check it out.

Sorry about that Lee I wasn't aware they were going to post your pic either. I agreed he could use any pics of my bike but I guess it would be best for him to clear your pics with you first. I'll shoot him an email explaining.

Like hell it is - if they are using you in their advertising for their monetary gain then you have a right to be pissed about it.

Companies sponsor people to enable them to do this - if they are hoping to sell more product by cashing in on your efforts and skill then it's obvciously worth something to them. They're a commercial outfit - send them your invoice for using your image and reputation. Let them know that it may be in their interests to either make a commercial or at least gentlemans agreement with you if they want to continue to use you.

It's my fault, he wanted to see pics of our bikes and I sent him pics of both. I gave him the ok to use any of my pics but I should have been clear about Lee's pics. He is a really nice guy and I'm sure he will resolve this very soon. It's not his fault.

Now that we got that cleared up, check out these videos showing the dual bottle system. I think it makes for a nice clean street friendly setup. I wish I could have it.

Anyone know how to embed these videos in the post using BBcode instead of posting the link itself? Not sure if this board supports embedded avi's it but I figured I ask. Please share the code if you can.

I put a 2 nozzle set-up on mine. Put 1 nozzle in each of the aluminum frame covers. The 1s you take out 2 remove the flies. Havent tried em yet, but should kick hard. Oh also i faced them forward 2 try 2 spread the nitrous evenly.

Lee told me that you did that. I like that idea. It looks great. My only concern is how well the nitrous is being dispersed. Are you at all concerned that more nitrous may be getting to the center cylinders vs. the outside ones? Just curious cuz I may end up going that route myself. I am using a 40 shot so I was trying to get it dispersed at even as possible.

Have you looked at the plugs to see if they all look simular?

None the less, that is very clean and sneaky, I love it! Your bike is beautiful as well Bob.

I have never seen a "dry system" plumbed in front of the air filter.

Are you planning to remove it ?

Bob,
I may remove it sometimes but I don't think it's necessary. I am really wanting a BMC race filter. Those things are only used for stopping birds from getting in your motor. I wouldn't think it would hinder the nitrous at all infact it may help even out the spray some more. If I decide I want it to hit hard and fast I may seriously consider putting it where you have it. For now, slow and easy is what I need to keep the front wheel on the ground.

Nightmare,
I am trying to avoid it hitting hard and instant since I am stock wheel base. I can always change it later if need be.

Now thats a nice nitrous system. i think i am sold on this kit instead of the muzzy kit.I have one question though how would you put an air shifter in conjunction with this kit. I mihgt order an airshifter from muzzy and see if i can tie it all in together some how. Any inputs. Do you think that system can use a t fitting and run another line to an airshifter

Smokin is the guy you want to talk to about that. He is planning on using his nitrous for his air shifter as well.
