anybody had cluster apart
wanting to know if it comes apart, wanting to wire aux shift lite

You should wire it to the coil on the #1 cyl. You really don't want to be messing inside the cluster. Also this bike uses a CAN system and you won't get a feed wire......

The cluster actually comes apart pretty easy if that's what you want to do.
I took mine apart to install my gauge faces. Very simple. Just take out the screws
and pull apart.

I use a Raptor light that is behind the cluster and shines up through the gap.......bright enough to see in the sun :-)
Hey......run the LED up into your helmet - should be able to see that :-)
My point about the CAN was that there isn't really a tach feed as the wires carry mutiple signals to the cluster, but tapping the LED itself should be fine.......pics if you do it......
