Flies out finally!!!

Finally did the deed - 90 mins start to finish including ride up street. Custom map from friend of mine up in Oregon. Took out for a quick spin and holy mother of torque finally more impressive than my seriously built 01 R1. Little glitch around 2500rpm or so but the rest feels good. Will report more findings. Pulls noticeably harder even in 6th from 4K - Kawi really bogged it down all the way through the gears it seems.

Keep putting the smack down.

Now go for the pc3, and load a no flies map. it wil go another step better. if you have a open exaust ,put the bars up with two bars at the whole rpm range.

I don't know what dutch means by the bars thing, but I agree with the pc3. It runs a tad lean once the flies are removed...plus, if you ever decide to pipe up, you already have the pc3, just load another map.

Sorry guys did make it clear. Have PCIII USB installed - the map i used had a minor glitch right at the very bottom ~~ 2500 rpm. Fixed it tonight by adding some fuel in this area. Thing pulls like a train - much stronger low down than I remember my ZX12R being. Now my wife will not be able to pull me from the lights on here 636.... LOL

I may well try this at the weekend. With the latest map it seems very linear with little to no hesitation. Comes on strong at 3K - how does everybody else's pull below 3K??

With a good map the fueling is fine - no on/off hesitation at all. You have to pay more attention when feeding in throttle at lower rpm's since there is sooooooo much more go, I was reluctant to do it but after 3k miles I am glad I did for sure - if I was not careful my wife's 636 would pull me out of the tight corners where you would expect a 1400 to leap off the turns. LOL. With the flies out it behave like it should do!!

Thanks to the "fly" removal, I took Deal's Gap, from start to finish, in second gear! It has much more power down low. The down side is, it loves tires!
