extended swingarm vs bolt ons
i see a lot of bolt-ons on this site just courious if its the price or what that keeps people from extending there arms on the 14 or any other bike waiting on some replies

Obviously the guy wants to know the pro's/con's of bolt-on extensions vs. a welded arm.

My bikes likes its arms swings extended but the swing bolts prevents future mods of the sprocket wheel. Now unless you are have to consider the labor of cost of yours; then you might decide what you like really.
Hey does anyone have a PC map for frame sliders with stock pipes and air filter?

Simple really. Bolts ons; $300 bucks.
Extended swingarm; Upwards of $1500
Bolt ons have limited travel. Extended swingarms have no flex, whereas the stock swing arm is paper thin, and has plenty of flex. Extended swingarms can have a bottle mount for NOS, or an airtank, or both.

I have a bolt on extensions on my 14 and have a 2.5 bottle bracket welded on. The bike does great but I wont consider a welded arm until I do the motor work. With all that power, I want to make sure that nothing will snap so yes is will be underbraced!

A factory welded, extended arm from Mcintosh is only $375.

your prices are truely wrong with weld up arm ours 375.00 and up not 1500.00 our chromoly arms are 1300.00 with brace and airtank and starting prices are 850.00 raw with nothing. on it

have you ever seen Mcintosh at the drag strip helping customers . and trun around time in less that 2 weeks from time of payment . our arm are built for drag racers by drag racers ... our chromoly arms used one some of the badest andfastest grugdee bike on the planet and caal for race schedule's

I'm sorry but a plain black box section chromoly arm doesn't do a darn thing for me, especially at 1000 dollar price point..

i give up i just wanted to know why more people were going to bolt ons than weld up ares and it turns in to a spelling bee

a weld up stock extended arm is NOT 1000.00 they start at 375.00 just the chromoly start at 850.00

ebay is a place to advertise ,even tho we didn't sell that arm .we did sell 3 arms for gixer 1000 and 1 outlaw arm for a watercooled all you need to do is just ask for pricing
