replacement tires?
Although I'm probably another 1000-1500 miles from it, I was wondering what tires yall are using? Since the rear tire has an extra belt or something in it, I was wondering if it would hurt to run a regular tire, say a pirelli diablo. I've always liked that tire.

I have got about 500 miles left on my rear before I have to buy a new one. Nothing wrong with the standard 014 but a bit of harder wearing rubber is on the agenda next time round.
I have run my last two bikes on Diablo Strada's and been very pleased with them, but am looking to go over to Conti RoadAttacks next time as they have received very good reports both for grip and mileage.
Has anybody got their own thoughts on them?

This is one subject I never really dwell on, because they all go away fast the way I ride. No burnouts or stunting, just hauling ass with my friend and his Boosa. If I were doing a trip, I'd fit a set of hard tires, maybe.

Oh, the tire debate again. Try the search tool. some don't think its up to par but it'll find > 500 tire debates already.

I'm using Conti Road Attacks. I wasn't sure about them but I give them a go, and I'm very happy wit them.

I bought these for my ZX14. The front and one of the rears is on my bike now and has around 3000 miles on them. And ya, there's a reason I buy 2 rears per front on that bike!

Avon has just come out with a new tire, ST Storm, supposed to last long with better grip than the 45/46 series
