you would use it to connect the ignition module(if available) or a memory module with multiple maps to select from, to start with, also would provide increased connectivity for a laptop computer(more places to plug in)

You can connect the ignition module to adjust timing. It has a gear position harness to sense what gear the bike is in.
It has a relay output that you can probably use to trip a nitrous solenoid. I also believe it can be hooked up to sense boost to retard ignition timing.
If you plug in the map switch you select different maps with a flick of the switch.
I'm not sure if it actually has a USB port on it or not..
