Best service

Last week I searched the internet for deals on Michelin Power Pilots and sent out several emails about pricing on tires for my ZX14 and my sons ZX10. The next morning I had one responce from Rick at Riderdirect.com. That was the only responce I received. I called him and he gave me the pricing. I waited for more responses but received none. I paid $6.00 more than the best advertised price I could find on the net because I am an old fan of customer service, something most of you younger guys will never know. Today My tires arrived even before the charge appeared on my VISA. I haven't been treated this good since my honeymoon if you know what I mean. We have five bikes and these guys have my business. I can't believe service like this still exist. All that for $6.00 over the best price I could find. I have never done business with them nor did I know anyone there before I called. Great service and good price. Merry Christmas

Wow how old are you and have you never got good service over the net? Whats that local guy charge to deliver the stuff to your door anyway? Does he charge taxes?

We have a local guy here that will match any Internet price on tires, not just 6 bux. But he won't bring them to my door.

Pretty funny you think most young guys "know nothing about buying locally". LMFAO What age hangs around local sportbike shops where you live???

I just went to "riderdirect.com" and sirens started going off in my head (well, not really...). The website is owned by "Motorsports Marketing Strategies", aka www.m2sagency.com. They are not a seller of motorcycle parts.

That website is a squatter, not a real business. Can you please double-check where you got the great deal from? Maybe post a business name, address, phone number, etc? I'm curious now...

Well I'm 57 and don't have any bike shops where I live. What is the age where you live? We got a Burger King and we are getting our first stop light next year if that counts. I don't remember saying anything about buying locally. Maybe you are thinking about a different post? When I was growing up that was when people got service. Obviously you never got it or you would know. I don't look for anyone to match price. I look for someone that offers a fair deal all the time. I paid no shipping or taxes and received them the next day. I got the 190/50 for $154 and the 120/70 for $106 delivered the next day. I dealt with email till ready to buy then called a tool free number and got to talk to two really nice people. He told me about the Power road tire for increased mileage and was well informed. The last tire I purchased at a dealer was the 190/50 for $169 (Marked down from $189.00) and $28 to install it on the wheel I brought in. I am getting a changer and balancer to do my own changes.

Ladies calm down. You are getting your panties all waded up for no reason. I bought tires on the net and got them the next day for a good price. I am real happy with the service I got. I don't care what your aunt sally says or thinks. Some of you need to get a life.

Hey Mr (Look I made 19 posts) Take you good deal and go insult some other group. I reckon the Ladies around here (PK, Spam,Girlee, Izzy) could show you a thing or two about riding. Thanks for the news now go troll elsewhere

It's obvious from you remarks that making a lot of post dose not improve the quality of them. I simply made a statement that I was real happy with the service I got and all of a sudden everyone is a critic. I don't care if you can get them put on in 10 min for $5. Had nothing to do with my post. So here Mr. "I have nothing better to do than post here" is your answer to you invitation to post elsewhere. Another post.

Whois worked fine for me - through networksolutions. Came back registered to the company I mentioned above.

Yo Zeezman, you're 57 and put "pilot powers" on your "ZX14", but are immature enough to come on here and blast everyone?

You're either a BS troll, or an inspiration to us all.

And I smell

Thanks for the website clarification. They do have good prices, that's the first place I've seen that has prices as low as the place that I've been using for a few years now, http://www.swmototires.com. They also have great prices and ship same-day for free if you order two or more tires.

By the way, ridedirect.com's actual business name is East Kentucky Tire, they located are in Martin KY, and they have a positive BBB rating.

Sorry to give you such a hard time on the details here zeexman, but internet freud is so common these days that I hate to see a website advertised on a place like ZX-14.com without full disclosure. Especially when the first variation of the website that you posted turned out to be a squatter.

:thumbsup

You know I am sort of new to this site but have learned a lesson. There are a lot of people on here that are just looking for some reason to play the "bad ass" role. I've been riding bikes for over 40 years and liked it better when bikes weren't cool and the only people who rode were those who enjoyed the thrill of two wheels. I have three of my own bikes (two street and one dirt) and average around 16K miles per year and have been doing that for years. I don't do group rides or runs and don't dress funny when I ride. I thought this site was for the exchange of ideas and the sharing of experiences with a great bike, the ZX14. Those of you who are cool and bad ass's please skip my post as they are not meant for you and I don't care if I only post once a month I ride and that is what it is all about.
