1 more thing.....Don't race him. If he's that big of a jerk, I'd just let him have the win, and in an obvious way, like redlighting a full second before your supposed to go.

I race for fun. If a guy that im racing is a total piece of shit, and I can't stand him, I won't race him if I don't have to. If I have to......he wins......phuck that, life is too short to get wrapped around the axle about who has the fastest bike.
If HE made the bike, not Suzuki, I'd be impressed. Anybody can bolt on some parts and spray NOS and get it down the track.
Got to SCR, nicer bunch of buys there.

a typical 1397 busa is prolly about 210 HP if he has a forty shot and you have a forty shot that would put him at 250 RWHP and you around 185+40=225... i.e bike wet weigh 543 a piece i think so 543 plus his 260 puts him at 803 803/250=3.0884 pounds per hp your bike 543 plus 150=693 693/225=3.08 exactly pounds per HP assuming Identical rider skill your bike should win... I give you a little added edge cause I assume since you did not mention it you are both stock length so I assume again that you will not be spraying right out of the hole and with the flies out on the laun ch you are going to have more torque even then a BIG busa, so with a lighter rider you should hole shot him pretty good and I have seen enough 14 hold off BIG busas around here to think that you should be able to hold him off... In my opinion you should try to negotiate no squeeze I think then definately you take the win assuming of course your rider can ride... lets look at the numbers without the squeeze and see how they look his 803/210=3.8238 lbs per HP your 693/185=3.7459 so you can see that without the nitrous you have a BIG advantage... also take into account that you will only have about a week to "dial" in your nitrous unless you are getting a full custom nitrous map made... here is a little tidbit I normally dont share with folks but I used to live in meteraie so I will give you a freebie.... cutting the back section out of the seat is a perfect way to hide a 1 lb nitrous bottle then you just pop the seat cowl on and migically "no nitrous" and keep in mind because the 14 doesnt have a "trunk" like the busa no one EVER expects a bottle to hidden there I have okie doked many a busas with that one can only get em once though but hey that is why in street racing I always bet the BIG money on the first race... LMAO just fyi let me know if you are looking to buy a NOS kit I am selling my complete kit for 300 with the bottle. for 400 I will include the cut out seat so you dont have to ruin yours, I am wanting to get a wet kit for mine but either way let us know what happens GOOD LUCK thanks for representing NOLA

tell him to get a stock motored busa without the dope
Or his bike with the bottle disconnected and you get to use the dope...
That would make it close
the 1397 is more than just 45 cc larger...
Its higher compression, likely ported and cams.... about 215 HP
at least 25 RWHP more than a piped zx14.

Don't burn a piston trying to prove a point either.
Make sure your set up right.

We have two big busas around here both over 1400 ccs (I think 1426?) both built by 2 different builders. Both have ported heads, cams, falicon super cranks, falicon knife edge rods, as well as the big bore kits. Both are stock length and height. Both bikes have been dynod ( two different dynos) and both were right around 200hp. One was 202 at the wheel the other was 196 at the wheel. The 196 hp one does have lower compression (12-1) while the 202 hp one has 13.5-1 compression. The 196 hp bike and mine are real close to even in the 1/4 mile and he is a lighter rider (im 260, and he is 170) but his bike is harder to launch due to the extra torque, he has to take is easier in first gear than me and so he has to spend the rest of the 1/4 running me back down....he will come around me eventually but its after the quarter mile. The other bike I havent run againsr but he is more of a bench racer than actual racer. So I havent been able to get him to run yet. Oh, by the way my bike dynos out at 188hp on the same dyno as the 196 hp busa. I have brocks Gen III, power commander and TRE, and I am also stock length. None of the bikes are lowered. And the two of us that have raced have quite a bit of drag racing experience. Either way as long as your guy can ride you shouldnt have a problem with the busa.

he came up with a million excuses, at the end , u know what he said, wait till 1500 comes out., i said well wait. but for now, u got ur ass whip............................................................................................................................................................................................................................ you posted this... now you scared... be a man take ur medicine...you made ur bed now lie in it....
