Yea oil pan fixed

After knocking a hole in my oil pan. I was able to drill and tap a hole in the side of the pan. My welder welded the bottom flat. Looks like a skid plate. This was one of the best things i did. I dont have to worry about the plug hitting anymore. The pan came off easy also. If you have your bike lowered. This would be a good move. I only spent 50 bucks including the labor and the bit,tap and new plug.

I drop the suspension on my bike for the straight line stuff only and go back to standard height for the road. Not only safer that way but more ground clearance for cornering.

Did you shorten the pan or did you just close up the drain plug hole and move the drain to the side???
