Love my Corbin bags! Ok, they are not completely waterproof, at least I don't think they are. I was riding in the rain for 7 hrs though and opened the lid in the rain a couple times, so I'm not exactly sure when the water got in but they do seem to leak some. They have lots of storage space though, and look amazing on the bike. I didn't want to spend that much but I'm really glad I got them. It's just great being able to take the 14 to get groceries or movies instead of taking the cage.

I like my Cortech sport saddle bags and tail bag. They fit the bike well and go on and off in a snap. Very good design, and you can get all 3 bags for about $160.
I've logged over 3,000 miles with them so far and have no complaints whatsoever.

That would be very suprising! I had corbin bags on my ZZR1200, and the fookers could handle anything, including the pressure washer or car wash wand.

One bag (left one) had 1.5 inches of water at the bottom, and I had some dry clothes in there. However, I do remember water pouring out of my sleeves when I got off the bike, so I may have dumped into the bags once or twice without realizing it. I'm just not sure at this point.
I managed to stay somewhat warm (60-65F temps) but boy was I wet. I bet I dumped over a cup of water out of each glove every time I got off the bike, lol. I could swear I had water trickling down my spinal cord and my liver was floating by the time I got home.

Oh ya! Passenger works just fine. My son (11 yrs) seemed to have a bit of a problem getting his feet situated, but I think he was doing something wrong. My wife has ridden over an hour with me several times and has not had a problem. If you notice, the fronts of the bags are curved in for leg room and peg access.
