Finally made it to a Race Track.

Well here's the scope. Finally had to chance to get to a race track. Had to drive about three and half hours to Kansas City, MO from St. Louis. Today was grudge day at the track.
1st Pass
10.56 @127mph.
Spun Real bad thought the clutches were slippin the tach was climbing so fast.

2nd Pass
10.25 @141mph.
Better but not what I drove 4hours to see.

3rd Pas
9.94 @142mph
Thats were I wanted to be before the end on the day. Happened without effort.

4th Pass
9.91 @141mph
Getting a consistent feel for the clutch. And still not leaving hard.

5th Pass on Final Pass (Looking for 9.8's)
1.675 - 60ft
4.235 - 330ft
6.345 - 1/8mile
116.33 - 1/8mph
8.177 - 1000ft
9.747 @142.92mph - 1/4mile

I am very pleased.
I believe as smokin says more seat time will get me into the 60's or better.
I had lousy front half numbers. 1.60 or better sixty foots and better 330 times will be the goal
next time out.

Here' s the set up
Lowered and strapped
Stock wheelbase
Stock Pipes
Flies removed
Foot Shifting
My weight 190lb with street clothes

Pics of bike coming.

VERY GOOD!!!
____________
You only need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

I met a guy who ran his busa at KCIR and he ran pretty consistent 9.50's and he said simply by going to gateway he dropped to a 9.36 as his best. Have you been to KCIR yet????

Not me, there was a black one there as well. He wasn't lowered at all, his was truly bone stock. The track told him to stay under 130mph because he didn't have leather pants.

I heard it was a black one????But whatever. Stock wheelbase at KCIR would be hard to ride. Mine prior to stretching it was useless above 8k. All it wanted to do is tilt at the moon, lol.
