MCN & Bonneville
A small piece on page 4 of the UK weekly Motor Cycle News caught my eye. Don't have a scanner so here's what it said.
"AMERICA - A man who didn't even have a bike licence last year has taken three land speed records. Bill Sch**** of Santa Cruz got hooked after watching the Motorcycle Speed Trials at Bonneville. He bought a ZZR1400 and this year raced across the salt flats at over 195mph beating three AMA records."
Can't vouch for the veracity of what they said and it's not exactly new news but it sounds like someone we know.

Bike was modded supposedly up to 193 hp. Went 189 stock. Pretty good for salt flat noob.
