It all comes down to rider skill
Apologies for spamming the forum with something perhaps not quite 14, but I thought you guys would enjoy seeing a big kawa kicking my nimble 10's ass all over the track.
Here's my friend all over my ass...and yes, he's *really* faster than I am on that battleship (ZRX) of his; now imagine what he'd do to me on a 14!

Anyone taken their 14 out to to a track yet? Curious if you had any pegs left afterwards.

^ Edwards is going to Kawi?............ :-)
Had a 10 crash in the hills trying to keep up w/ me.......that sucked......
My pegs are grinding down...............I hit the fairing - once - twice -............3rd time caused it to lowside last week........ouch.
With so many good bikes........it does come down to rider skill...........

Better line doesn't mean squat when you're gettin' passed.

It does if you've got the inside line on the next curve and it's on your side.

...or if the wind happens to be blowing a lot of sand onto the outside of the track.
The only thing that saved me from getting passed by the next corner was the afterburner that the japs built into my 10; I may not have quite as much skill or confidence in the corners yet but there ain't many that bikes that can stick with my 06 10 on a straight.
Unfortunately for me the brakes on my 10 does not inspire much confidence, I usually chicken out when it comes to braking later to keep my advantage.
I saw that one of the guys in the 10 forum put a pair of 14 calipers on his 10...I may follow his example soon...I hear the 14 has a lot of stopping power; how do you guys find the feel and feedback of the brakes on the 14?

Yep, and the pegs are still there This bike has been surprisingly good on track, it's stable and predictabe, but the lean angle is a bit limited... gotta hang more and more. The ABS brakes have been very helpful, it's so easy to find the limits in how hard you can actually brake, and you can hit the limits with no worries as many times as you want. Boy this thing flies and stops... with comfort.
