I just watched the video. It looks like you slipped the clutch for about 20 feet then let it out. It sounded like it bogged alittle when you let the clutch go. Are you going to try more gear? Are you running mr9?

In that vid you are talking about, it had a 1.376 60' even slightly bogging. I try to dump the clutch ASAP and I go full throttle with my reaction.

I probably can go another tooth, since I'm only getting to 5th in the 1/4. But I don't want too much where I would break the tire loose off the line. I'm pretty happy where I'm at.

No not running MR9.

So what are you saying dubious, I was coming off as a ass? ....lol j/k I'm running 16/44 on my bike now at 7 inchs over and it's hard to keep the front end down. It can be done but you just have to be alittle easier on the clutch than i like. My best 60 so far has been 1.43 but it was wanting to wheelie and i have to pat it. I tried to go more last night but at 7 inch over with roaring toys ext and 16/44 gears you cant adjust the slack out of the chain. I have a 140 link chain and if you go 1 more link you put the axle all the way back and you cant get your chain adjustment right. I'm topping 5th on mine going thru the traps...

topping 5th?
are you hitting the limiter?

maybe 16/42 would work for ya then.
the extra shift already may be slowin ya down?

you probably will be better off with 16/42 as your times get better?, save haveing to shift to 6th.?

Yup top of 5th....almost on the rev limiter. I have my shift light set at 11,000 and if you stay in it, it kicks on about 30 feet past the traps. I have a airshifter so no lost time shifting for me. I want more gear to go through in 6th. Fat guys need as much gear as they can use. I have the weight to get it to hook so why not add more gear? That's my philosphy.

Hell I'm glad to see a 200 pound guy hauling ASS! in a place where weight is everything. I was just thinking to myself what this bike would do with a 130 jockey on it's back that know's how to use the clutch..

His estimated weight at 725 pounds would make 199 horse power 130 pound rider would
run 546 @ 130 859 @ 158

However at that length the 130 pounder would definitely be having traction problems

8.69 @ 154!!!!!!!

That's what it ran Friday night with 140 lb rider!!!!

I let him (Smooth) on it Friday night, just one pass, and he had a 1.33 60', was at 126 in the 1/8th, and stopped the clocks at 8.69 @ 154 MPH. This bike keeps amazing me more and more every week, and it only has 700 miles on it.

I apologize for not having the timeslip posted, but my internet was down last night.

I will get it scanned and post it tonight so you can see the incremental times.

I also made my quickest pass ever Friday night too, 8.91@ 150. Went to Baytown Saturday for the Texas Shootout, got on the scales, and it showed 730 lbs!!! Damn I need to get on a diet.

Timeslip to follow!!!!!

Man those are some sweet times, there are alot of turbo and nos bikes that can't run that fast. Think if you had a 40 or 50 shot of nos on it.
