Sunday 3 ZX-14's on Lake hughes rd

Today was a great day for a ride in the Angeles national forrest !
Me my buddy Flame on, Socal zx-14 rider, and another buddy John headed out Sunday morning for the Rock Inn that is buried by twisties way up in the forrest.
We took the I-5 to Lake hughes Road up to the Rock Inn and then took San francisquito canyon back to 14 for a group shot then back to the I-5 for home.

A beautiful day

Ya that black one on the right is the best color isn't it?

Intimida2or pulled my flys then I put Pilot Powers on front and rear just before we left for the twisty roads, man what a different experience. It's almost like I was riding a different bike. It doesn't lag out of the hole and the tires grip like glue. Had Metzler M3's on just before, these tires IMO give more cornering confidence.
I don't know why I waited so long to ride the REAL ZX-14.

Love the redline wheels - who owns the one with the red grills? That bike is hot!

The bike with the red grills belongs to the guy on the left in the 14 FWY picture he painted them on, it look sweet. I think Intimida2or refered to him as Flame on.

Nice...paint the lowers red, get rid of the hideous left heel guard, and it would be even better!

Ya I thought I saw sand on two of the left curves, kinda scares the shit out of ya when your leaning hard into what you just noticed is sand. I think it was just a color change in the road.
