Carbon fiber frame sliders

58cycles.com has nice carbon fiber frame sliders with anadized ends for 126.95 has one bought them are they any good like the muzzys

You only need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

I think that just means you are not getting those specific ones. But you could always ask the seller.

They look nice but I'm not too sure how functional they would be. In a tip over they will probably be fine but in a lay down and slide situation I suspect they will either break or dig into the road surface and cause some frame damage. There is a reason for having a sacrificial material like aluminum or teflon/delrin/acetal that will slide and wear as opposed to those socket head cap screws that will dig in and grab. Show bike material in my book.

Those are the LP sliders...have 'em on the R1 and the 10r, had em on the Busa too. Look nice, first time down they are toast...but they do the job. Don't axe me how I know
