maybe Kawasaki should talk to me bout dis stuff!

Ok....if you are really the guy to talk to about this stuff, tell me what you would do to my green ZX6R?

Give me an idea of what direction you're lookin to go. Flames, tribal,2-tone, 2-tone w/pinstripes, murals, real fire. Do you have a color preference.

We just repaired my wifes bike (a green 05 zx636) We replaced the stickers on the tailpiece w/ ghosted green painted lettering. & on the tank we did a little cartoon character that is a carbon copy of my wife when she's WAY pissed! It was subtle & the only regret we had was that we just didn't do all the black stickers over w/ the ghosted green lettering that we did on the tail. Oh & we did the RR treatment on the belly section of the fairing(Painted it green!)

nice flames...
I checked out your website - I like the tv dials, that was a cool idea.
How come none of your girlies have sixpack abs?
Don't you know that thats hot?

Anyways for my bike I would love something organic. like SWAMPTHING or maybe a picture of Kiwi my iguana, or maybe just all mother of pearl, opalescent reptilian green scales - like the northern lights. Or Kiwi's ear drum scale after it sheds.

Or maybe our favorite flowers - nastursums, she loved to eat them and I love how they smell as you ride down the Cal coast.

So you either purchase all new body work or send your parts to zx1kr and get what you REALLY want. Why pay for all that plastic twice? Seeing the incredible artwork above, I just wish I was closer to zx1kr, I'd love to turn him loose on my wife's and my Boss Hosses . . .

Judging by the pics, zx1kr does amazing work. However, if you spend $3K on getting your plastics painted, you still only have one set of plastics. If you spend $3K on new plastics, you have two sets (sell one set and get $1,500 back or save the second set in case of a crash).

Its nice to have the stock parts in case you decide to sell. After all, custom paint usually makes a bike's value drop. That is why Countersteer could only get $1,000 if he tried to sell his blingy ZX12R

3000, is pretty high for a paint job on a bike unless there is alot of airbrush work.

Went to my dealer yesterday, They have #1 and #2 of 50 produced of the "factory flames" for the 2006 ZX-14. Each set painted was numbered. I think they want around $5000 a set.. not a typo.....$5000
