Nothing hooks as good as a Mickey. Period!

Basically it depends on your set-up you might not need a mickey. How long your bike is has a lot to do with it. If your bike is not 8-10 inches over you can probably use the ultra-soft. I have used both with good results. The Ultra-Soft is a great tire but it is no mickey.

Richie of Richie's Tires said they would be testing them, but they won't be out for a while. Pirelli will have one also. If they make them legal, that will drop some times.

I'm a dealer and already ordered (backordered) one to mess with and see what they are like. When I talked to the Pirelli tech they are supposed to be right with the mickey on weight. I know MSRP is $300 and supposed to come off back order the end of this month.

I use a 180-55 U-soft shinko, wheelbase is 69" on my ZX-14, best 60' is 1.33, with consistant 1.34's, and up to 110 passes right now with plenty tread left.
I am sticking with Shinko. Mickey's hook like glue, but do not last near as long.
