Stock is good, I like Corbin better, at least on my other bike.

I just logged 3,200 miles on the stock seat with no problems. I think it's fine. My ZXR on the other hand... wow, did that sucker need to go! A Sargent seat did the trick there.

Besides... I don't want to worry about covering up that precious leather seat every night on a road trip.

I want to try the new concours 14 seat on my ZX. It looks like the same seat pan so it should work. Gotta wait to see one at the dealership so they can let me try it out.

Any group buys happening soon on these? Wonder if Sargent seats are on the 14 bandwagon.

Can't speak for the 14, but the Corbin on the 12 is a must have.

Try doing 3200 in a day on the stock seat and then tell us what you think :P

Go to Hollister and have it custom fitted. Off the rack and the corbin is a heavy, hard, wide POS compared to stock. Even custom the stocker is pretty darn good.

After about a couple hundred miles my ass hurts no matter what I do, however the corbin makes it much more tolerable.

+1 on the Corbin. I can't do more than 100 miles in the stock saddle, but I can run the tank dry over and over on the Corbin and not be worn out when I arrive at my destination.

Biggest problem I have with the stock seat is my butt killing me, arms and back are fine. The stock seat is much more comfortable than my GSX-R1000 seat but I still need a break after 1 hr. I'd get the Corbin right now if I was sure it was much better. Problem is I have a Corbin on my KLR650 and my butt still gets sore, but I'd have to say it's better than the stock ZX-14 seat. I'm probably going to get the Corbin seat eventually because I want to get the back rest and glove box that go with the Corbin. I just spent $1600 on the Corbin beetle bags so I'll have to wait on the rest for now.
