Who has adjustable lowering links?

I've seen the schnitz and the spencercycle adjustable lowering links. Does anyone have any feedback on them? Other brands? I gotta have the adjustable and not the 3-hole. Need to know what others think before I purchase them.
thank you
jeff

I bought the ones from schnitz, the ends are aluminum.
Work great.
I deally I would have bought some with stainless heim joints but was too impatient.. can't remember either spencers ore patrick racing have them now.

They work great, but I am unable to install the rear lower cowl now...
no big deal, it looks goofy from the left side with the big hole there, as I am running brocks 4-1 smeg .

I bought the Muzzy 3-hole one's. One point worth mentioning was that I modified the rear lower cowl mentioned by Dubious (just by the rear wheel). It needed a bit shaving off the inside edge to give the neccessary clearance because the Muzzy links are a bit bigger than the OE Kawasaki items. An easy job with a Dremel or similar. One hole lowers the rear 3 inches, they work just fine. Don't forget to modify the kickstand !

Vmax, I just ordered a set. Are you the guy that is 'testing' them? The reason I ask is because the guy I ordered from today (@ Spencer)said someone in Canada is testing them out before they will be shipped. They (Doug) needed feedback before they start shipping them. Knowing Dougs reputation, I went ahead and ordered them and the red mirror block-offs. Definitely the best price for adjustable links
...damn I hate to spend the last of my mod money on the adjustable kickstand, but it looks like the easiest method.

I Installed the stand, very nice piece of work.

The links are heavy, it'll be interesting to see how they fit.

Not clear yet how they go. They come with a longer bolt plus two spacers.

I'll try to take as many photos as I can during the install and post the interesting ones.

Another observation on the lowering links:

If you have the service manual check out page 13-30 where is shows a drawing of the rocker arm and tie rods (links). If you draw a straight line parallel to the rear bolt, you will notice:

1. The width at either end of the tie rods is different. The centre bolt of the rocker arm is shorter then the read end, and

2. The spacer on the right side is longer then the left side.

All of this means care is required to make sure no misalignment occurs after installing the lowering links.

Just a quick note before beddy bye.

The links from Spencer did not have enough clearance.

I drew up a sketch and Doug Spencer is going to make some new spacers.

I'll let you know what happens.

If these have clearance problems then any link which does not have a curve in it will also unless spacers are used at both ends.

Anybody used the Muzzy or Schnitz links?

Did you have to use spacers?

thanks for the input. I've already bought the parts, no shipping til they know the links will work. I'm glad to know that they will fit when I get them. It really sucks having the bike tore down for longer than it needs to be....especially with the cooler seasons creeping in.

Does the adjustable stand come apart. i.e. will I be able to disassemble and powdercoat? If so, its getting powder before it ever gets installed on the bike.

may want to suggest that he stamp or mark which spacer is which... If there could be an alignment issue, the directions and the parts need to be absolutely clear. I know its not rocket science, but a lot of people(like me) start doing their own mods in the garage instead of being hosed at the dealership. The Valve adjustment was 'rocket science' until I saw it done on my bike...then I was kicking myself.

Not really a problem.

The small ones at the rear and the bigger ones to the front and the largest to the right front.

The links come apart if you want to powder coat.
