Powerlet

Hooked up with the guys from Powerlet on Thursday. When I went down to run @ Milan dragway I also hooked up with these guys. They were awsome. We talked bikes all afternoon and we worked on mounting locations and prototypes till 10 PM. The fit and finish are top notch. After, they told me that it was Bike night in Royal Oak, so we headed over there. All our Bike Nights are over here at home for the season (40 @ nite). I have never seen so many bikes in that type of setting. One guy told me that there was a pair of red 14's, but I never saw them. I did however see another of the faster BLACK ones.LMAO First time I have ever seen another 14 in person.

Are they making something for the 14?

Yes it is cool. I have had my bike since May and just saw the first other one last week. It was 3 1/2 ours away. Pretty much everyone I talk to says the only ones they have seen were on TV.

Yes. According to them, Kaw wants to use them on a touring version of the 14. We did all the R&D along with installation tips and how to photos. I have 2 ports on my bike. I have never used anything like these before. It has a 15 amp rating. This means that you can use it as a connect point for a battery maintenance charger, for heated clothing, for GPS, radar detectors, phone chargers, etc.
They even have a bulk head for a tank bag or hard bags. Then you can plug the bag in and leave stuff in it plugged in. I can leave my radar detector and GPS plugged in and just take them off there mount and throw them in the bag and go. This stuff is high quality and just awsome. I don't know how to do a link, but here is the addy. If someone else could make a link, I would appreciate it.
