thats the new harley bar sportbike...it only gos in a straight line from one bar to the next. all those curves only slow you down on the new bar and the bike self adjusts to go straght after all we all know the fastest way to the next bar is in a straight line.....hope nobody got hurt on that one

What the heck - he never even tried to turn - he went straight - wonder if he was having a heart attack, seizure, or just plain-ol day dreaming - and of course trying to pass with double yellow lines!!! Anyone know what happened to this guy???

I saw that video before. It looks like the "boys" were playing a little too fast and came up on the car, and interupted their "line". It looks like he just hit the brakes and stopped turning. They better stick to "cruising". I pesonally couldn't believe the driver didn't stop to check on the downed rider !!!

He leaned the bike, not much but he did...

If you ever rode one of those Road Kings then you know that when you do lean the bike it scraps the the foot rest and if you still lean it over then the bike scraps the frame lifting the front and causing you to go straight !!!

Ask me how I know that

I had a Road King for 5 years. That was rider error!!! They do scape the floor boards and frame but at a much greater angle than that!! I used to see that crap all the time, most Harley riders are really pittiful if that is all they have ridden. Although given a good rider they can be ridden a fairly brisk pace. I got real good at backing them into corners as a way to get them to turn. 700 lb bike& 300 lb rider slide'in sideways is quite a sight I am told. I surprised the crap out of two BMW riders on the million dollor hwy. near Ouray Co. They were Ex -Road racers as well and we had a great time one afternoon about 3 years ago

I followed some gold wing riders that were extreme and scraped their floor boards, wow that was wild to watch. They consistently scraped, seemed they needed to replace them as often as they did their tires!

What was the comment the guy in the car said right after the crash? "Dude we better get out of here, their gonna beat our asses"?
What the fuck! Where I come from you stop and help at every accident, your fault or not.
I've been right behind guys who crash, someone needs to stop traffic so the rescuers dont get creamed by other motorists and the more people the better.
Specially in the twisties where all the corners are blind corners, you have to post people up the road on both sides of the accident.
In this state you leave the scene of an accident and get caught they can arrest you.

Those people in the car where assholes.

You know this saying is so true...Look where you want to go, but even if you dont want to go to a particular area if your looking at it that's where you go!!!

too much rear brake, If he would have leaned harder, and used the front till the white line he could have kept that on the pavement...

FBA... no doubt about the squid part,
I have had several harleys cut me off in town now.
The last one I warned ... next time I will take him out, either by showing his front tire my rear tire, or with my helmet at the lights.

Quick latch - straps on helmets come in handy, remove, re - clip and schwiiing!
2 on 1? ... bring it on!
Tuff guys... thats why they need to hang out in gangs....

Never one to instigate..................... however....................

I had a Kawasaki 750 hit my rear tire at speed when I was on my V-Max and if I hadn't counter-steered to full lock I would have gone down at 45 mph. Although the rear tire is more robustly planted, it still can be moved by the front of another bike, especially if the other bike is heavier.

Bangin bars was a favorite pastime of mine!
Moto X!
but so was tae kwon do...

I hear ya, stal,
and really I just can't fathom why someone would be that way.

Purposely tryiing to run another bike off the road....because it's not a Harley.

Sometimes I think it really is because they are envious.
They want one, but their " good friends" would disown them because its not a Hog.

Whatever, if their ego's are that big and their brains that small.... em.

Too bad it has to be that way.

Years ago I did this to a friend of mine: you pull up at the light and point something out on the bike and get them lookin'. Next you reach over and quickly turn off their ignition and pull the keys out. You must be quick but throw the keys into any annoying place to retrieve them, I chose some large bushes. Ride away at speed. ENJOY!

PS if they have really pissed you off take the keys a few blocks and drop them . . .

I have 2 Harley's and I love them - and for different rides than the ZX-14. Each of my bikes has a purpose and an enjoyful ride - it really depends on my MOOD!

I also Can't believe those people didn't stop either!!!! Heck, I stop to help EVERYONE! - Have even been known to stop in rain with a car full of kids too - I had my wife, 3 kids and my mother in the car, and it was a rainy day in Sonoma - they sat in the car while I tended to a man lying on the side of the road with multiple broken bones, etc... - I feel obligated to help as a physician! But everyone should help no matter their position in life - heck, like someone above said, even DIRECTING TRAFFIC IS HELPFUL! Okay, I'm stopping my goodie-2-shoe bit.

I have several HDs' & I ride them just as often as I do the Kawi Rockets. What I have found is, we have an equal amount of Idiots riding the "Metric Missiles" as the "Hogs".
What disturbs me is the ignorance of lumping all HD riders into this sterotypical roll. I ride because I love to ride. Sometimes I love to ride while scrapping knee @ triple digits. Sometimes I ride at 70mph while crankin' my stereo & listening to that V-twin thump.
Bottom line: There are Idiots EVERYWHERE! I try my best not to become one of them by thinking that only idiots ride a certain style of motorcycle!

+1, Ignorance is what will seperate the sport, and humanity....

That said, I have met my share of discriminating cyclists, and if they think its cool to attempt to take out another rider.... they deserve whats comin.
