Lucky day!
Well me and my riding group did a ride to Shoshone today. High speed stuff all the way. Get to Shoshone and lo and behold............my blackberry is missing. I thought damn, coming off at 170 or so ain't gonna be pretty if I find it. Well, we ate breakfast and I took off early from the group so I could drive slow and look for the blackberry. Well halfway back before a nice right hander, I see some plastic on the shoulder and stopped and it was the holder to my blackberry. Then I find the battery cover. I then decided that I needed to move my bike more onto the shoulder and when I did, I looked over there was my blackberry about 5 yards away, minus the battery. I then looked around and found the battery and put it in and it would not turn on. Pulled the battery out and saw two bent connectors where the battery makes contact. I bent them back and the damn thing booted up and is working fine. The blackberry had one littlel scrape on it and that's it. Pretty cool to find it and have it still working..........all in all we had a great ride today. The 14 ran great!!

Wow @ the Blackberry story. Mine came off the top of the car during a hurricane here in FL. A week later, a blockbuster called "your ex said this Blackberry we found in a water puddle may belong to you". They had booted it up and called a number in the addy book at random.
A year later it still works great. Its still obvious the screen has been water logged in the past...its got all those weird colors in the LCD.
I don't doubt your 14 ran great hehe

Yup, those BB's take a beating and keep on ticking...had many myself over the years, but the best war story I have, was about my Garmin Street Pilot 2650 GPS. 3 years ago, I'm bootin it hard whille gettin' on an entrance ramp to the expressway and my 2650 flies out of the cradle at 120 and goes rollin' down the ramp for about 1000' then gets run over by a few cars.
I stop and walk back to pick it up and it's basically toasted, or so I thought. It was completely completely smashed, but the LCD was fully intact. I pick it up, walk back to the bike, put it back in the cradle and proceed to tighten the cradle (this time) and presto...it turns on and resumes the route. I changed the case and used it for 2 years before I finally sold it. Reminds me of those original Motorola 8000 cell phones, the ones people used as hammers in emergencies...they could stand up to anything!

I dropped my cell phone into a manhole full of water a couple of years ago. It took 45 mins to pump the water out of the hole to retrieve it. I took the battery out and threw it on my dashboard. 2 days later I thought I'd try it out, and it worked fine for a year.
