Three threads about the Bro's, I wonder if they pay for all this advertisement. From their audio clip I can make that sound with a saws-all . . .

Ok friend of mine just installed a Boz bros exhaust on his 10r...Obnoxious. If you want to know what it sounds like you can do it in about 10 minutes on your ZX14. Unbolt the stock exhaust cannisters from the passenger footpegs...then loosen the bolt on the lower clamp on the mid pipe on each side. Then just slide both stock cans off of your bike so that it is wide open after the stock header collector. There you have it...sounds just like the moira exhaust...if you put the little excuse for a baffle in the Boz Bros pipe..then you can maybe subtract about a decible or so. Oh and by the way...there isnt even a map for his pipe..they recommend running the Akropovic Evo system map...his bike is still lean and pops on decel badly even with the KLEEN valve plugged off.

talking about the looks, i care nothing for the dual exhaust... i will mostly be drag strip anyway... i like the most just for the fact that it takes away those horrifying cans off each side. JMO

I have to say that I really like the way you can see the back of the right side of the bike. I can't imagine how obnoxious that thing must sound... but I have to admit that it does look mean with the stock car looking pipe out the side. Can you imagine on deceleration when it pops out the 2' flame on yours or your rider's foot?? There is absolutely zero back pressure there also... I would like to see one dynoed and geared to see if the motor can run with that much free flowing exhaust... I would think that the bike would be like the typical Harley cruiser you see where the owner puts sraight pipes on and never touches the carbs... They are all around here... Loud, slow, and lean!! As far as the price... how much can they have into it??!! a couple of short peices of pipe... about $100.00? Although I have to say I have always been of fan of Eric's racing. And in person he is always a great guy... I have hung with him a bit at Elkhart Lake... he has always been a class act!!

well, i just installed the moira exhaust. and u guys were right, its fucking loud. no complaints really beside it is too loud. neighbors called the law already. weights 8lb and fact system weights over 40lbs..... HUGH weight loss. yes it does pop on decel, shoots nice flame out of it. it feels like i actually did gain some power on stock map. power wheelies lot easier. honestly, wouldnt reccomend to someone that rides on street a lot, people complain. other than that i love how it changed the looks of the exhaust!!!!

agreed,
the primaries, and primary collectors appear no larger than stock.
primary Not stepped, and the secondary collector does not converge properly

Might as well balogni cut the stock exhaust right before the mufflers....

same bling-boy, look at me I'm the retarded asshole with no exhaust efffect...

I already feel like an asshole riding mine cause the smeg is plenty loud...

every once in awhile I let out a forrest gump squelch, and flail my arms rapidly,.... when i get cut off..
LOL
.......just to affirm that............ I AM ..........a retarded asshole.

LOL

I mean, how much engineering went into developing that exhaust for maximum power ?

It's nothing special, it's just half an exhaust for $675.....I wouldn't waste the money on it.

Local shop had one come in with 171hp with mapping. The tuner/dyno operator was not pleased.
