Vegas dude I'm wondering how you got you seat before me, Oh -well you are probably close to Corbin the I am. I'm in Iowa. I know mine is on the way I got an email saying so.

Could you weigh both seats prior to putting the corbin on. I am just curious to the "actual" weight!

The corbin seat will tip you back in relation to the bike, compared to the stock seat. That makes the reach to the bars longer, and the pegs shorter. At least it did on my 12R

Any chance you ride a passenger w/any regularity. I'd love to have the backrest for my wife (And a better seat, if it comes in the deal.), but the Corbin I ordered for the FJR, neither one of us liked. Wondering what a passenger thought of what you had...

I seem to have gotten 1/4 or so more in leg room, the reach to the bars is different, but I have no problem reaching the bars............the arrm reach feels the same the sitting position compared to the reach is different............hard to explain. How would you accurately measure that?

My wife respectively requests a passenger report. She LOVES the stock seat and I'm not allowed to change it unless its an improvement for her. I suppose with the backrest I could sell it . . .

I have a Corbin on my 502 Boss Hoss and we both like that one but I think she might love the backrest as before I had none and she was constantly holding on for dear life if I whacked the throttle.

Hey VD - make a mental note of the bow of your back. Maybe even get someone to take pics with you sitting on the bike with the corbin and the regular seat on it. I think the pic will show that your back is bowed more with the corbin seat.

I think your right on that. I feel that the sitting position feels more natural with the corbin, but only a long ride will let me sort it out.................

Im only 5 foot 9 and the corbins dish made it harder/further to reach the bars for my 12R. I ended up going back to stock. The taller riders seemed to like the Corbin more than myself. It was comfortable on the butt, but it scrunched my legs a small amount and the bar reach was lengthened (like I already said). Im not sure if the 14 Corbin will have the same results. Maybe if the seat was made thicker to naintain near stock seating positionj, with a slight increase in legroom? Just thinking out loud.

I want one! They really look sharp with the color matched piping on the seat. The nice thing is that you still have the stock seat. Nice for keeping the nice leather Corbin out of the rain.

I'm getting a Corbin very soon. Got one on my KLR650 and it's pretty comfy. I'm planning on going with the Red Snakeskin on top and black sides with black piping. That's about what I got on my KLR and it looks really cool. The main thing I want is the backrest so I don't have to worry about dumping the wife after I take the flies out!!

Too funny. That's exactly why took it off my R1 after one ride. You can't slide around at all. Just not made for that kind of use.

transition on the seat was really nice on my 12. Much easier to slide my ass around on the corbin. I'm assuming it will be the same on the 14. I plan on ordering mine for Christmas.

Exactly what is sliding around on the seat in a turn supposed to do? Is the extra wind resistance supposed to help pull you around the turn?
