Orderd Brock Smeg today
Well We have a customer at the shop I work at that was thinking of a Brock Smeg, But he has never seen a Brock pipe so he was wondering about the Quality. So I orderd an Smeg for my bike today, So hopefully we can sell Some Brock exhaust systems at our shop now, we sell alot of Busa's, zx10's gsxr1000's. And the thing about Brock's exhaust is the map support, we don't have anyone close to us in this area that can dyno tune a bike. now I know some of you think each bike needs dyno tuned, but I don't believe much more if anything can be squeezed out of a bike after one of brocks maps is installed. SO it will be here tommorow and I will see what it does at the track saturday, can't wait!

When they hear it rip... unless they are conservative type, they WILL want one too!

I would like to have a smeg but i have one on my other bike and the sound Just to loud for my old ears ... I'd love to have the extra power....

They claim only 3 or so more dbs then gen 3 system, so we will see.

Its way louder than any other sportbike I have ridden with!
I have not ran a decibel meter next to it, but typically megaphone exhausts run about 10 -12 decibels louder, than regular silencers...
from what i remember reading about them in the past.
10 db is a BIG difference.
db's increase exponentially,
like your typical stock bike would run about 90 db WFO,
probably about 80-85 at 4000 rpm where the gov't test.
regular slip ons about 98 db, WFO
and megaphones usually about 108 db WFO.
jetliners are about 120db, and gunshot around the same.
These numbers may not be absolutely correct, but generalizations from my memory.
make no mistake, my bike can be heard from a mile away....
not that proud of being a hellion,
but it is what it is.
at 9000 rpm, an open pipe harley in the next lane can not be heard in my helmet !
the only thing that sounds cooler is a nitro methane blown harley...
those things make the ground shake!
