Get er done!

Got the breakin mileage out of the way. Great googly moogly she pulls hard past 7K!! I'm still running around with the secondaries in, no tre. It'll prolly stay that way, I'm pretty much ok with the soft bottom end. Keeps me out of trouble. Last 75 miles were all twisty backroads, keeping the revs between 3k and 6k. Mostly just first and second gear was fine. I don't seem to have a lot of problems climbing around on this bike. My 10R felt like I was a monkey f**king a football. The 14 fits me lots better. Certainly transisitons side to side fast enough for what I'm doing. Smooth throttle hand and you can make good time on the backroads.

You'll keep the secondaries in until you run across one w/o 'em.

Dunno guys. I've had 212hp at the back tire before on a 12R...With 104 lb/ft of torque. Big power is fun, true enough. But it makes all the power I need down on the bottom. Once I get the hard bags on it and a taller screen, it'll be fun stretching it's legs out on the road.

Listen, I gotta say this. All this yahooing about the "flies out" is completely blown out of perportion. I have them out & properly tuned the bike isn't a problem at all unless you consider 25lbft & 20hp at 3600 rpm's a problem. It's a whole lot different than adding peak power. This is readily usable good stuff.

I did the sub plates out and dyno mapped.

75 foot pounds at 3200 rpm is great !
And very drivable.
