PC III remaps are great, but what about the timing tuning?

I'm very impressed with Brock's progress thus far with the 14. I think he's made a lot of headway for us in a very short time. My tuning interests lie with adjusting the timing curve, and I haven't seen a lot of news or detail regarding this very important factor in overall performance. There seems to be quite a bit of headroom in adjusting the timing curves, especially in the lower RPM ranges, and considering most of us has access to 93 octane fuel, it would be nice to take advantage of the higher timing we could run with it.

So, is anybody working on the ignition maps as of yet? I believe this along with getting fueling sorted out will be the greatest boon to us with the addition of a full exhaust system and a hi-flow filter.

I'm waiting on Dynojet's "HUB" apparatus & their Ignition module. I don't want to go any other way. I feel that DJ's R & D in their products allows me greater comfort than any other products that may be currently available.

Dynojet Power Commanders will be shipping late this week or early next. I ordered one yesterday. They stated that they had some problems with the ignition module and it would come out a little later as will the quick shift kit. I do not know about maps, but I am taking mine to a tuning center as soon as I get it. Oh yeah---they stated the Power Commander will NOT adjust the ignition timing.

Fastest,
What about the 'hub''mapping all gears separately, and the secondaries?

That's coming from Dynojet, according to their site...you'll be able to map each 100 RPM's/Gear seperately...I can't wait!! If the TRE makes what Ivan claims it does, the Dynojet module will blow you away. IMO, we should be seeing nothing under 90 LBS RWTQ at 3500...and that's wicked...my Busa without timing was 88 and that was insane...I think 92+ would be about right...with the PC3 and the ignition module. HUB looks very cool, although I can't see the need personally to switch maps once I'm tuned. Technically, when you Dyno tune, you are supposd to optimize for max power all the way through the range anyway.

IMO Timing will be a must for this bike. My buddy has a 01 12r with full Muzzy pcr, putting timing in that bike was like giving a big fat meat bone to a dog. Get out of its way !!!

Also two different maps would help if you want to drag race. Less torque for that and more for on the street. At least thats what i would want.
