Geico saved me money on zx14

Ive never had Geico for any insurance before. I picked up my ZX14 a couple weeks ago and the Progressive Insurance I usually have was very expensive. I signed up... but I got to thinking that I should call around a bit and try to reduce it some. Well the company I work at is owned by the same parent company so we have a discount as part of our employee benefits. I called Geico and got a policy for 1000 bucks less than what Progressive charges me. It seems that recently Kawasaki formed a partnership with Geico, so the rates for Kawasaki bikes are quite good at Geico. I know I sound like a Geico commercial, but maybe someone here can save a few (or a lot) of buck like I did. The price ended up being 635/year for full coverage with a 1000 deductable. (Im 40 with a clean record and MSF qualified).

where do you live Tim
I'm in Southeast Virginia - bad area for bikes, but one where Geico insures alot of people - I normally don't have Geico - I use USAA - but since USAA doesn't insure bikes anymore - they go through Progressive - Progressive was astronomical - UGH!!! - But, I'm not carrying collision, but I'm carrying everything else - I figure if I crash - I'm done!

I live in Florida. I have USAA also for my cars. Progressive sucks for the ZX14. Ive always had good luck with them otherwise. I may call State Farm as well. I had them many years ago on my firts new bike (89 FZR 600).

I've had State Farm for years and they are way cheaper on bikes and sleds my 14 is under 700 with 250 ded. and 50,000 in medical (probably wont need it @ 160, but it doubles as life insurance.

Geico will me buying me a new bike so I guess I can't complain.
They were very fast and easy to deal with. They also said they will roll the policy over to my new bike so no rate increase. Whew!
Now if the state would get me the title I could move forward. No riding for at least another month while everything heals.

State farm fixed my Honda Magna when I crashed 1 week after my purchase. My bike was back in 2 days with no trouble. Right now I'm with auto club due to the break for multiple vehicles.

Around here, Louisiana, the problem with State Farm is you have to have an auto insured with them before they will insure a bike. I have tried a couple of different agents with no luck. Its USAA for everything but the bikes, and I am not changing over just to get a rate on the bikes......TB
