I did not reinstall the rear spoiler/ lowers, as I have adjustable links, and there is a gaping hole on the left side of the bike where the pipe used to be anyway.
FUNCTIONAL... is my perspective!

I can take some pics from above and behind, and post them tonight if you need.

What type of coating is that on the pipe (black)?

Is the whole pipe powercoated?

I really like the black look. Makes the main color of the bike stand out.

the entire system is black ceramic coated,i have also replaced alot of the stock silver bolts with black ones,it does help to bring out the blue, and blend the black in more uniformly.

RNR - That black pipe looks sweet! Shiny things just plain look out of place on this bike.

Brock sells the pipe for $1049, bikeland members get $50 off that.
Then the pc3... can't remember now.

I installed my own .
It was a snap!

Thanks for the info dubious, I have'nt installed any pipes due to the crackdown in L.A. county right now. 5 friends now have tickets as of last week. The dealer even warned people, but I really want pipes.

I didn't see an option for black on his website. I'd actually like to get one for my 12R.

can get ceramic coating in a variety of colours. im most likely still going to coat in black, but undecided about pipe. waiting for new designs to come out... an undertail exhaust on zx-14 would be HOT!

You'll lov ethe power increase... pulls hard right into the limiter, instaed of tapering off.
And the sound is incredible.
Everyone I ride with loves the sound of it when I honk on it! Even if they can't hear theirs.
I can count the number of times I have been cut of by cagers on one hand since i installed it 6 weeks ago, less than i used to in one day of riding!

It suits the most powerful production bike to "T" IMO.
It now sounds as powerful as it is.

I noticed the heel guards are powder coated black, that looks great. I plan to have it done to mine very soon. Local guy here does it. May let him do the passenger foot pegs too

Racnray did you powdercoat the clutch cover bolts or replace them with black ones.? I just had my friend powder coat my footpeg brackets and bolts black. Looks real good, I want to powdercoat as many nuts and bolts and the heel guards black on my 14 as well..

all my brackets/gaurds have been painted with a baked on engine enamel that very closly matches the factory black. the bolts are black replacements. since these pics were taken i have done the rear pegs, next is the shifter and brake pedal.
