12,500 Is it too much!!!! So there I was all excited about finally getting my bike and my dealer told me that the bike was 12,500 out the door! I wanted to do it but I think that is a little too steep and do to the fact that this is a militay town and the next closest dealership is about 100 miles away, They'll jack prices up. I'll drive the extra miles though. It'll give me more time to break the bike in. So do anybody think that's overpriced? I a youngster so I seeking advice from the wise!!!

A troll is a person that stops by the forum just to post stuff to stir things up without being serious about what they posted or to upset people. But the price they quoted you out the door is fair but not a great deal.

It should be less than that. At least $500.00 less.

Around here they are running about 11,000.00 out the door. I got mine for 10,500 otd, but dealer is a Bud. For the price they quoted you it should include extended warranty and roadside service......TB

They are on sitting on showroom floors in Houston now. MSRP is $11499.00 isn't it?
You should be able to deal now.
$10200.-10800.00, plus TTL, no setup/delivery charges either, at least don't you think?

Offer the dealer whatever you think is fair. Be ready to buy if they bite and don't be offended if they pass. Each dealer has the right to price products at rates they think the market will support.

Hey! Thanks for all of your advice. I think I may let this one go and drive elsewhere. Oh yeah, to SWFT, I am dead serious about my question. If you wasn't going to give advice, keep quiet and move to the next tread. I asked because i needed to be informed and who better to ask than the people on this forum. And please forgive me if you took this as me being rude.

What are you whining about, the 14 is very very cheap over there. I had to put $23000 on the table to get mine, ABS version. You've got much higher average income level also, so get the bike and have some fun. That's it.

I paid $12,000 OTD here in Orange County CA. It is #325 and the first anywhere around here. Although I always like to hear I got the best deal obtainable anywhere, I wanted it so bad I handed them a check before the crate was opened. I like hearing you all got great deals on yours and I am completely happy with my deal. Just get the bike, ride it and don't look back. I also got a 5 year warranty.

I was 11700 OTD - I went to Elizabeth City to get the bike - couldn't get it in Virginia Beach or Norfolk - they couldn't keep it in stock.

I used to be stationed in Oceeana. Great place but the police are not about playing games!
