We have a local harbor frieght store, 5 min from my office. I checked them out in person, the quality is lacking compared to other brands, but the price makes up for it. I decided to wait until can afford a better unit after seeing it in person tho.

Got to love China's cheap stuff paid for at the expense of the rest of the world manufacturing jobs I hate what it does to us in the manufacturing sector but I buy the stuff too, as I could not build it myself for the cost of the steel alone!! Not to mention the added cost of the hydraulic jack, paint and hardware!! Oh well if it keeps up like this we will be broke and they will have a peoples revolt and then the Iran will shoot off their missiles at North Korea and the Iraq thing will flow into the rest of the Middle East and the whole mess will be a great party. Keep your powder dry boys

Couple of questions on this as I have never used one before, but thought it would be good to have one.

1) How does the bike stay upright or does it?

2) How do you get the rear up off the lift platform to mess with the wheel or chain, etc.?

Think I answered #1, it sounds like you either need to buy better tire vises, or use straps over the top of the bike.

"Is your apostrophe button broke??"

You never know what country or keyboard he has to use.
Automatic get out of jail free card.

I have a handy lift and would have bought the harbor freight lift
If I had known about it at the time.
IF you work with a tool everyday maybe you need snap-on.
